Bottoms

WAIST: Pull the front of the pants up so it lines up evenly with the back. Measure straight across the waist. It is VERY important to be sure to pull the front completely up in line with the back, or else it will result in a smaller waist measurement, which is not the true accurate measurement.

FRONT RISE: Measure from the center of the crotch to the top of the waist.

BACK RISE: On the back, measure from the top of the waist to the center of the crotch.

UPPER THIGH: Start 1″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the thigh.

KNEE: Start 13″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the knee.

LEG OPENING: Measure across the very bottom of the leg at the opening.

INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to the end of the leg.

The Deviant LAW (L.A. Weight) Motorcycle Jacket from Japan-based leather maker Double Helix is made exclusively for Snake Oil Provisions. This modernized double rider asymmetrical motorcycle style jacket is made from extremely premium tea-core horsehide leather with a lighter weight, matte finish, and more supple hand than the classic 1.3mm Deviant. No epaulets or belt on this model gives it a modern, streamlined and easy-to-wear look. The Deviant is just as great on the bike as off, crafted from top-of-the-line horsehide leather from Japan in brown overdyed black. This leather is highly sought after because of the unique way the black dye wears off to slowly reveal browns underneath. Model is 5'10," 180 lbs wearing size 40/Medium.

Wow. I have owned many asym biker jackets. I retired from riding so I didn't need or want a thick heavy leather jacket anymore. After selling my Schott 519 and Cafecto, I was looking for a 3 season jacket with similar classic asym style but no heavy belt, or 2 pounds of leather. The LAW exclusive from SOP x Double Helix is perfecto! Such a clean look and the Nitta Teacore Horse hide is so supple and has depth. I will be passing this jacket to my kid one day.

I had to exchange the original size 38 for size 40 and although there was the standard wait time from Japan, the crew at SOP was 1st rate in helping. I want to help with my own measurements for those ordering. For size 40 it fits me perfectly. I am 5 foot 8 and about 150 lbs. My chest is a size 39 for custom suit measurements

I normally wear a size 40 in Schott Cafecto or 613sh. A medium in 519.

The LAW Deviant laying flat, I got a little different measurements which are:

Sweet Jacket

Sweet jacket. Gorgeous leather that's substantial but not stiff, fits Western builds beautifully, zippers aren't wonky, pockets are deep. DH x SOP FTW.

The perfect biker jacket

I’ve been hunting for a kickass leather jacket for a couple years, and finally found the one for me. This piece is badass: the perfect weight (for LA), super fucking dope leather, and no bullshit frills. Crucially, it fits like it was made for me (kids, this is THE most important factor). Can’t wait to break it in!
